About Us

The station sits on the side of the Cockermouth-bound A66, the road that was once a railway. Directly opposite the Dubwath Silver Meadows nature reserve, we are an ideally situated café for breakfast, lunch or light refreshments during your visit to the North Lakes.

Special care has been taken to preserve the natural beauty of the station’s surroundings, which also serve as a habitat for the many species of native flora and fauna that can be quietly observed from the peace of our wildlife walkway and bird hide.
