Community

At Bassenthwaite Lake Station, we pride ourselves on serving up delicious meals that everyone can enjoy. However, we are more than just a business, we are a part of the community and we make every effort to give back.

At Bassenthwaite Lake Station, we believe that businesses can not only bring people together but that they can support the community that they are part of too. As a business that is at the heart of its community, we are committed to supporting our neighbours in any way we can.

Whether that's creating new job opportunities, committing to use local suppliers, or working with local organisations to raise money for those who need it most, we want to be a positive force in our community for the long haul.

Our new sensory garden is a peaceful haven for visitors to the station along with local groups and individuals. With wind chimes overhead, rustling and textured aromatic plants and a view across the wildlife marsh and wood, this is a lovely place for a mindfulness moment too.
