Treat your loved ones to a meal, Afternoon Tea Bus Tour or Afternoon Tea on board the replica Orient Express at Bassenthwaite Lake Station.
Vouchers can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person and can be redeemed in the shop too.
Please be aware that all vouchers purchased in October, November and December 2025 will be dated 24.12.2025 to help spread the cost of Christmas and still allow recipients a full 12 months to use the voucher. Any vouchers sold during this period can be used straightaway, regardless of the 'issue date'.
We regret that expired vouchers can only be extended by one calendar month and apologise in advance that we are unable to extend it longer or provide any refund.
Please let your recipient know that they should book well ahead so that they are able to use their voucher in good time.

Vouchers will be posted out First Class in a branded envelope with a leaflet to the address provided at the point of sale. If you require multiple branded envelopes please submit separate orders for each.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. No refunds will be given for expired, or invalid, vouchers. Afternoon Teas must be booked at least 24 hours in advance but all table bookings are strongly advised as we can get very busy. We reserve the right to allow, or not, the use of expired vouchers. Customers should be aware that the price of the expired voucher at the time it was purchased shall be its value and that an additional payment may be required if the price has increased. Customers should be aware that we are not obliged to extend any vouchers that have expired.
Afternoon Tea vouchers have a nominal value at the time of purchase and can be used towards alternative meals or in our shop if preferred.
Standard Afternoon Tea Vouchers can be used towards ‘Special’ Afternoon Teas e.g. Festive, Valentines, Mother's Day teas but there will be an additional payment required if the price is higher than the standard tea. This will be payable at the time of booking.
When telephoning the café, please avoid busy service hours as we can sometimes struggle to answer the telephone. We are open from 8am and close at 5pm.
